Re: Amendment to the Bridges II P.U.D.
Dear Steve,
Following are our responses to your staffs comments letter dated May 15, 1998 for the
above referenced project:
1. Not applicable as this project is being submitted under the LDGS.
2. A new fire hydrant is being located at the end of the new cul-de-sac on our plan.
3. Matt Delich, the original traffic engineer for the existing Bridges project, spoke with
Eric Bracke at traffic engineering and determined that the addition of this duplex would
barely impact the existing traffic patterns. Eric requested that Matt write a letter which is
included in the submittal. Bicycle and pedestrian access through the site and to public
streets is as per the existing Bridges project, i.e., along sidewalks and private drives.
4. The water main extending south of the New Mercer canal is being abandoned and the
fire hydrant is being installed. Separate water and sanitary sewer services for each of the
two units are shown on the utility plans.
5. Drainage and erosion control reports and plans have been submitted by Stewart and
Associates. The inlet in the cul-de-sac and the storm drain to the pipe beneath the ditch
are to be constructed as part of this project and the pipe size has been verified.
6. There are no trees to be disturbed with the constuction of this project.
7. We will wait to hear from Light and Power if there are any new development charges
associated with this project.
8. We have submitted our drawings and paid our Development Review Fee.
9. Our submittal has been in accord with the LUC.
