I am in receipt of your letter dated October 1,1998, which includes your recommendation
that the county compensate the city a fee value of $29,500 for the dt bur easement
north of the existing facilities building.
The design tem and the county have discussed this issue in more; detail, subsequent to
the receipt of your recommendation. The recommendation appears to be somewhat one-
sided considering that the underground storm drain from the detention basity which
services both the city end county property, exits the site to the northwest across the
county's property, and will require an easement to be granted by tine coumy.
in addition, the city has requested the coutrty grant a pedestrian essernent for the
-pedestrian spine" which tuns adjacent to the west side of the proposed courthouse.
The recommendation made does riot support the cooperative efforts of the county and
city in the development of the Civic Center Four Corners projects
The design team sod the county request then a meeting be scheduled to discuss this issue
further, and bring resolution to the required easements on this block I will be contacting
you to establish a date for this meeting.
