Critical information such as detention pond design should be referenced to the Drainage Plan, which has its own requirements. He also felt that the need for a drainage easement on the property as well as for the line that will need to cross city property north of the facilities building will be determined by the stone water department. EDAW's experience with detention ponds and storm drain lines on city -owned park properties has not included preparing easements for these facilities. (Rob U. at Parsons should follow up on this.) Janet said that the Parks Planning Department must follow city approval procedures for park designs, but that the procedure is different than private development proposals. An illustrative master plan drawing will most likely suffice. She will write a summary of the necessary steps for approval as soon as possible.
