Dear Jon:
Thank you for meeting with me on the site to discuss your proposed development
plans. As we discussed your proposed building locations relative to the ditch will
probably work provided that the level of your concrete walk is not too much higher
than the level of the ditch bank, so that when a backhoe and truck are cleaning the
ditch they both can have adequate space to work in and the grade will not put the back
hoe in a dangerous position. I understand that your engineers have adjusted the
grade to accomplish this.
It will be necessary for you to construct the walk with sufficient thickness and strength
so that it can withstand the weight of trucks and backhoes during such times as ditch
cleaning occurs.
As we discussed you and I and John Moen will need to meet on site again to further
discuss the ditch company's requirements. Thank you.
