Elder valves must be installed upstream of the cleanout and a minimum 3-feet from any wall, overhang or other structure that might limit access to the valve. Elder valves may be purchased from vendors in Fort Collins, Colorado. 10. All construction shall be inspected by District inspector prior to backfill. For off -site sewer line manholes: Manhole rims shall be set flush with the surface when within an all-weather access roadway, rims shall be set 6-inches above grade if they are not within an all-weather access roadway.
