Box 580 Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 970.221.6750 970.224.6134 - fax tcgov.com/developmentreview Annexation of the existing Clydesdale Park subdivision through a series of two annexation areas, known as Clydesdale Park Annexations 1 and 2 DATE OF REVIEW BY THE FORT COLLINS CITY COUNCIL October 7, 2014 (18t reading) PURPOSE The purpose of this report is to satisfy the requirements of CRS 31-12-108.5 which indicates that a municipality shall prepare an annexation impact report and file a copy of the report with the Board of County Commissioners governing the area proposed to be annexed. Attached to this report are the following: (a) A map showing the present and proposed boundaries of the City of Fort Collins in the vicinity of the above referenced annexation. The proposed boundaries of the City of Fort Collins are depicted by the Growth Management Area boundary as agreed to by the Larimer County Board of Commissioners and the Fort Collins City Council and contained in the Larimer County and City of Fort Collins Intergovernmental Agreements. (b) Maps showing present streets, utility service areas, stormwater basins, waterways, City of Fort Collins Structure Plan and City of Fort Collins Zoning. This is a voluntary annexation and zoning of an area that is approximately 79.3 acres and within the Growth Management Area. The property is located approximately 1000 feet east of the intersection of Interstate 25 and State Highway 14 (East Mulberry Road). Contiguity with the existing City of Fort Collins municipal boundary is gained from a common boundary with the Fox Grove development to the west, also known as Lot 2, Lee M.L.D. No. 04-S2309. The proposed zoning is Low Density Mixed -Use Neighborhood Zoning District (L- M-N) which is in conformance with the City of Fort Collins Structure Plan. The annexations meet CRS 31-12-104 in that not less than one -sixth of the perimeter of the area to be annexed is contiguous with the City of Fort Collins.
