This could be split rail or privacy fencing/columns with pockets of shrubs along the fence line in the common area. Additionally, we would encourage, but not require, showing a combination of split rail and privacy fencing on the plans at all lot lines along outlot A, C and E to provide transition and ensure that the common areas are defined. Please add the following note to the site plan and also a note on the fencing detail that references the note (or duplicate the note on the detail): Fencing: All fencing and masonry columns shown shall be installed in accordance with the locations shown on these plans. All fencing and masonry columns shall utilize a consistent color, finish, material and design detail. All columns and fencing shall be located at least 2 feet behind the sidewalks. Refer to sheet 4 of 8 for fence and column design detail. Any additional common area fencing and any additional fencing for individual single-family lot lines must utilize the same color, finish, material and design detail established with the fencing shown on these plans.
