therefore must comply with the standards in 3.2.1 (E) regarding parking lot screening and
landscaping. This does not change the comments provided at the staff review meeting. Please
provide a 6' fence along the east side with some portion on the north and south. Also, 6% of
the interior space shall be landscaped areas.

12111/2012: The extension of the pavers into the attached sidewalk is not considered
objectionable from Engineering. That said, the applicant should be aware that Engineering will
inspect to ensure that no more than 1/4 inch differential occurs between sidewalk and pavers as
well as between pavers along the sidewalk path. Additionally, the City will look to ensure that
this is maintained in such a manner post construction and warranty period.

90 degree turn for the sidewalk heading south along the frontage road with a curve to the east
such that it appears to get the sidewalk out of the trajectory of the light pole. (The sidewalk
could potentially detach to go behind the fire hydrant.) Pavers could then be used in between
the sidewalk and the curb.

visually tying into the sidewalk alongside the building directly south (as shown on the site and
landscape plan) vs. the pavers shown on the construction plans, in order to give the visual cue
