Page 5 of 6 Comment Number: 1 Comment Originated: 12/10/2013 12/1012013: Erosion Control Plan needs to address the steep slopes with a rolled product to protect from erosion specifically on the east and south sides of the Site, the detail page should also reflect this addition. The sequence chart is also calling out for the silt fence to be removed after construction however the silt fence (specifically along the east and south LOC) should remain in place until the seeded areas are established. The storm pipes that are to be installed on the west side of the site have no protection or explanation as to how they are planned to be protected. Erosion Control Report: Pg 7 of 10 Item #7 Particulate Generation: This should not just focus on undisturbed areas but also vehicles that could cause particulate emissions from the work. Pg 7 of 10 Item #12 Make sure to note that portable toilets and dumpsters should be located away from drainage courses and specifically the toilets being staked down to avoid tipping. Pg 8 of 10 Item #6 Mulching: This is not the same there seems to be some confusion with Landscape permanent chipped mulch and mulch used to "Crimp" seed to ensure seeded areas; Erosion control is concerned with the latter. The erosion control report should also disscuss the drainage course to the closest receiving waters. Erosion Control Escrow: This number looks good but will have to be updated with the addition of rolled products on the steeper slopes. If you need clarification concerning this, or if there are any questions please contact Jesse Schlam 970-218-2932 or email @ jschlam@fcgov.com. 09/17/2013. The site disturbs more than 10,000 sq-ft, therefore Erosion and Sediment Control Materials need to be submitted for FDP. The erosion control requirements are in the Stormwater Design Criteria under the Amendments of Volume 3 Chapter 7 Section 1.3.3. (Requirements added to the packet of Materials from Stormwater) Current Erosion Control Materials Submitted does not meet requirements. Please submit: Erosion Control Plan, Erosion Control Report, and an Escrow/ Security Calculation.
