This line needs to be shown more clearly and needs to be labeled. Then the note on the existing house footprint needs to be changed to something like "existing footprint = 1441 sf., proposed footprint with addition = ??? sf. 05/21/2013: Since a building permit application has also been submitted for an addition to the house and for a new detached garage, the site plan for the carriage house must also show those improvements for reference. The outline needs to have dimensions in order to confirm that it's 355 square feet per the size indicated on the second floor plan. Also, the dimensions on the floor plan are wrong. i.e., they show the building to be 11' x 163", when the building is actually twice that, 22' x 32.5'. 05121/2013: Additional clarification is needed on Sheet 3 of 4 (floor plan and building section) in order to verify the countable floor area of the second floor. The code states that any portion of the floor area of the 2nd story having a ceiling height of at least 7.5' counts as floor area. The section drawing shows a height of 7' 5 7/8" to a dashed line. What does the dashed line represent and is there any portion of the 2nd story that has a ceiling height of at least 7.5? If there is, show that on the plans.
