Dear Resident or Property Owner:
On Monday, October 22, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the City of Fort Collins Streets Facility
Training Room at 625 Ninth Street , Fort Collins, CO 80524 (corner of East Vine and Lemay), the
City of Fort Collins Community Development and Neighborhood Services Department will conduct
a neighborhood informational meeting to discuss a proposal in your neighborhood.
The applicant would like your input regarding a proposed Overall Development Plan for an indoor
and outdoor storage facility to be developed in three phases at 3805 East Vine Drive (please see
map on reverse). This site is zoned I, Industrial, and is subject to review and approval by the
Planning and Zoning Board (Type 2). The project's vicinity map and conceptual site plans are
available at http://www.fcgov.com/developmentreview/agendas.php under "Silo Storage - 3805 E
Vine".
City Staff considers your input regarding this project as an important part of the development
review process. At the neighborhood meeting, the applicant will be present to discuss the storage
facility proposal and City Staff also will be present to answer questions about the City's Land Use
Code as the regulations relate to the proposal. At this meeting, an official decision of approval or
denial for the project will not be reached. The purpose of this meeting is for the applicant to
outreach to the community, discuss the project and receive ideas and input regarding the
proposal. If the project moves forward, you will have another opportunity to provide additional
comments at a public hearing, and you will receive a similar notification two weeks prior,
regarding the date, time and place of the administrative public hearing. Additionally, please go to
www.fcgov.com/dre for more information about the City's development review process.
The list of affected property owners for this neighborhood meeting is derived from official records
of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and record
keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed.
Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all pertinent stakeholders may
have the opportunity to attend.
