I live in Westchase and I'm not sure a convenience store in the area is an appropriate replacement the existing
structural plans for a market. It is true that Harmony is not far away but connections to Harmony, particularly for
bicycle and pedestrian traffic are extremely poor. In the interest of the city's livability goals
(http://www.fcgov.com/planfortcollins/livability.php), a market may be more appropriate.
In addition, I do not see any discussions in the December 20, Planning and Zoning Board agenda that discusses the
explosion of construction and development plans under review for the area (at various stages throughout the city
and county processes). These developments include several housing developments, a new hospital and a Latter Day
Saints Temple. Along with these developments Zephyr Road and Trilby Road will make connections that will increase
connectivity to a planned market at the Hansen Farm Annexation.
Please carefully consider this adjustment to the existing structural plan — a convenience store may make a future
market unsustainable which could prove to be poor planning for the near future.
Thank you for your consideration.
