The Photometric Site Layout to be submitted on the above mentioned project to the City of Ft.
Collins Planning Department, shall be submitted under the City's Alternative Compliance of the
Land Use Code. It is important to note that to successfully illuminate a car dealership sales
parking area, higher footcandles are required than the land use code allows. Therefore, per the
direction of Leanne Harter of the City's Planning Department, we have modeled the site lighting
after Spradley Barr Ford an existing car dealership in the City of Ft. Collins. According to Ms.
Harter, the city has shown acceptance to this type of lighting and in the future will use Spradley
Barr Ford as the example of acceptable car dealership parking lot lighting.
