At
814-816 South College is an existing commercial building. Its owner, Larry Howell, is
proposing to build 4 apartments over this existing building. All 4 units will have rents that are
affordable to households earning 80% of the Area Median Income. Therefore its qualifies for
Priority Processing as an affordable housing project.
After some discussion with Bob Blanchard, this project also appears to be eligible for a 100%
waiver of its Development Review Fees. This only applies to fees charged by the Current
Planning Department.
Please implement Priority Processing procedures for this project's development review process.
The applicant's architect, Mikal Torgerson, anticipates submitting an application during the week
of September 8 h.
