The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, on Thursday, September 17,
1998*, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers**, City Hall West, 300 LaPorte Avenue, will hold a
public hearing on a proposed project in your neighborhood. The proposed project is commonly
known as the Arapahoe Bend 2nd Annexation and Zoning, #44-98A.
This is a request for the voluntary annexaton of a City owned natural area consisting of
approximately 215 acres. The property is located north of Easy Harmony Road, south of East
Horsetooth Road, west of 1-25 and east of County Road 9. The site is currently zoned Larimer
County C-Commercial and I -Industrial, and the proposed zone district is POL-Public Open Lands.
Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your input on this matter,
as well as your neighbor's input, an extremely important element in the City's review of this proposal.
If you are unable to attend the public hearing, but would like to provide input, written comments are
welcome.
Please Note: Due to the number of projects being reviewed by the Board, there is no guarantee this
item will be heard on the date advertised. For the benefit of those attending the meeting, the Board
typically sets their schedule at the beginning of the meeting.

Dear Leanne,
I will be unable to attend the public hearing on the
Arapahoe Bend 2nd annexation, on thursday, September 17.
I am the�.ac?mini8trator of the Abram Elliott Estate,
and hold Power of Attorney for Aleen Elliott.
I have no objection to the proposed zoning and annex-
ation of Arapahoe Bend 2nd.
I would like to point out a long-standing irrigation
ditch for a lateral ditch from the Boxelder Ditch, to the
Elliott property east of I-25. I would like written assurance
that nothing in the zoning or annexation of the Arapahoe
Bend 2nd will jepordize the irrigation ditch,.or.access
for maintenance and inspection.-
