RE: Rigden Farm Project (formerly Poudre Ridge)
Portions of Sec. 29, T7N, R68W
Dear Members of the City Staff:
We represent The North Poudre Irrigation Company.
Toward the end of September, 1998, we were furnished a prelim-
inary copy of the Rigden Farms Conceptual Master Plan. Apparently,
this was formerly the Poudre Ridge project.
The North Poudre Irrigation Company owns and operates the
Fossil Creek Reservoir which has, as part of the water it receives,
a ditch from the Poudre River known as the Fossil Creek Inlet
ditch.
There was initial discussion about the possibility of a lake
using the Fossil Creek Inlet ditch as a part of this project.
The North Poudre Board will consider any formal matter
submitted, but we wanted City Staff to know there has not been any
commitment on the part of North Poudre to allow the Fossil Creek
Inlet ditch to be converted into a lake nor has there been any
approval to allow the drainage of any retention or detention pond
into the Fossil Creek Inlet ditch.
On behalf of North Poudre, we would like to be kept informed
