Dear Vaughn:
This is in response to your December 7, 1998 letter regarding the interpretation
of the Land Use Code section addressing Street Pattern and Connectivity
Standards.
Your point is accurate that the Code states that the spacing of limited movement,
collector or local street intersections with arterial streets are to be spaced at
intervals not to exceed 660 feet between full movement collector or local street
intersections. This does not indicate that the Code would require fewer
intersections than you are proposing.
Hopefully, this clarifies how the Code will be applied on this issue. Should you
