(at least I am assuming it has been built as it is shown to be built as a part of phase 1 of the first filing) Rigden Farm choose to design that as an oversized connector roadway (42 feet from flowline to flowline). Thus we would not vacate a portion of the row as it would eliminate the parkways. The row has not been dedicated for the roadway between Limon and Drake Road. It is very unlikely that there would be a signal at the intersection of Kansas and Drake Road. And as for turn lanes, no parking would be allowed on street for some distance from the intersections to allow for additional width for turning movements. I don't imagine additional widths would be needed at the intersections, but until we review the TIS and the proposal I won't know for sure. Since the portion of Kansas that was built has bike lanes I do not know if bike lanes will need to be continued on the portion of roadway adjacent to Tract U. Hope this helps. We can talk more about this if this is unclear. Sheri Connector local street feet flowline to flowline >>> "Joe Carter" <joe@cityscapeud.com> 04/01/03 11:06AM >>> Sheri - You gave comment on the Parkside @ Rigden Farm (Tract U) project at a February CRT meeting and I have a question regarding the Kansas Street ROW. Our TIS indicates that a residential local is all that is needed for this section of Kansas Avenue. The existing ROW is 63' in width. With the TIS determining that a local residential is all that is needed, can we vacate the additional 12' of ROW? Matt Delich says that there are no turn lanes necessary for this section of road so I don't know what that additional 12' would be used for in the future. Is there a light proposed at the Drake/Kansas intersection - in the very distant future? Thank you.
