Member Schmidt moved for the approval of the Consent Agenda which includes minutes for
August 17, 2006, December 7, 2006 and February 15, 2007; #42-04A Kinard Junior High
School Annexation & Zoning PDP; and Land Use Code Text Amendment Adding Large Retail
Establishments to the List of Permitted Uses in the CCN, Community Commercial — North
College District
Member Rollins seconded the motion.
Motion was approved 6-0.
Other Business:
Chair Lingle and Director Gloss welcomed new member Gino Campana. They appreciate his
willingness to serve.

Chairperson Lingle called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.
Roll Call: Campana, Lingle, Rollins, Schmidt, Smith, and Wetzler. Stockover was absent
Staff Present: Gloss, Eckman, Olt, Waido, and Sanchez -Sprague
Director of Current Planning, Cameron Gloss, reviewed the Consent and Discussion Agendas and
made the following comments:
• Remove Item 4 (North College Urban Renewal Plan Expansion) and Item 5 (Downtown Urban
Renewal Plan.) The new City Council will be taking on these issues, they are not time
sensitive, and will return to the Board with no specified return date.
• Move item 3--#56-98AO Ridgen Farm Tract A Rezoning to the Consent Agenda. Staff
recommends the item be moved to Consent because there is no known opposition to the
rezoning, and, in fact, there is a packet of letters in support of the project.
Citizen participation: None.
Chair Lingle asked if anyone in the audience, who was present to speak to Item 3 #56-98AP, Rigden
Farm Tract A Rezoning and item 6, Land Use Code Text Amendment Adding Large Retail
Establishments to the List of Permitted Uses in the CCN, Community Commercial — North College
District. No opposition registered.
Member Smith moved that Item 3 #56-98AP, Rigden Farm Tract A Rezoning and item 6, Land
Use Code Text Amendment Adding Large Retail Establishments to the List of Permitted Uses
in the CCN, Community Commercial — North College District be moved to the Consent
Agenda.
Member Wetzler seconded the motion.
Motion was approved 6-0.
