RE: Pool Chemical Storage Procedures "Mix
State of Colorado
Dear Mr. Marini:
Pursuant to your request, the following is a narrative description of Kaufinan & Broad
Multi -Family Property Management Department's standard procedure for storage of
chlorine and related pool chemicals in the state of Colorado:
We generally store approximately one 50-pound bucket of Bromine in one -inch tablets,
which last approximately four months. This product is used for the spa and is stored in a
fireproof cabinet in the maintenance shop. This is a separate building from the pool/pool
equipment building.
We generally store approximately one 50-pound bucket of Chlorine in three-inch tablets,
which last approximately three months. This product is used for the swimming pool and
is stored in a fireproof cabinet in the maintenance shop. This is a separate building from
the pool/pool equipment building.
If you have any additional questions, please let me know.
Sincerely,
J a Greenlee, CPM
