The following public hearing schedule is projected for this Annexation request: Planning and Zoning Board (recommendation) January 21, 1999* City Council (initiating resolution) February 2, 1999 City Council (first reading) March 16, 1999 City Council (second reading) April 6, 1999 * Note: A PMT (8-1/2" x 11" reduction) of the Annexation Plat, a 2412x 36" colored rendering of the Annexation Plat, 8 blueline copies of the Annexation Plat, and one copy of the revised Annexation Petition must be submitted to Current Planning no later than 5 P.M. on Tuesday, January 5, 1999. This completes the review comments at this time. Additional comments may be forthcoming as the various departments and reviewing agencies continue to review this request. Horsetooth Road Fort Collins, CO 80526 Dear Bret, Staff has reviewed your documents for the Wykoff - Larimer Annexation, that were submitted on November 6, 1998 and offers the following comments: 1. The Light and Power Utility stated that this annexation is within the Poudre Valley REA's service territory and service rights fees will apply after the annexation. Please see the attached letters to the property owners and applicant. 2. The Zoning Department stated the following: a. Please revise the street label on the Annexation Site w/ Surroundings plan. County Road 38 E is not Horsetooth Road. Please label the road as County Road 38E. b. The request for LMN zoning is inconsistent with the City Structure Plan. The R-F, Residential Foothills or U-E, Urban Estate Zoning Districts appear to be more consistent. 3. The Fort Collins - Loveland Water District stated that they have no objections to the proposed annexation provided that all District requirements are satisfied. The domestic service would be provided by a 4-inch water line generally located in County Road 38E. Off -site water line improvements from Red Fox Road to Rockview Court would be required, at a minimum, for fire protection. Other improvements may be required depending on how the property is developed. Please contact Terry Farrill at 226-3104 with any questions regarding these comments. 4. The Stormwater Utility requests delineation of the Spring Creek Floodplain on the Annexation Plat.
