HomeMy WebLinkAboutPOUDRE HIGH SCHOOL, WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIP. (CRICKET) - PDP/FDP - 58-98B - CORRESPONDENCE -6. See the attached redlines for information and format revisions. We would like
to see the number of sheets reduced and a more comprehensive and

footprint of existing structures; outline of driveways and parking areas; edge
of public streets; streets, lot lines and zoning of adjacent development;
existing utilities and utility easements and landscaping.
ENGINEERING (Redlines Attached)
7. Show existing easements and utilities in the area of proposed construction.
8. Show in more detail and overall site plan, location of school, ball fields and
other features.
WATER/WASTEWATER
9. There is the possibility of a sewer conflict. Field locate the sanitary sewer and
show on the plans to determine if there will be a conflict.
LIGHT AND POWER
10. If power for the new facility is coming from an existing meter and if the main
panel is not being increased then we have no comment. If a new meter or
panel change is required, contact Light and Power as soon as possible.
BUILDING INSPECTION
9. See attached written comments.
Redlines must be returned with the re -submittal. See the attached Routing sheet
to determine the number of copies required for each sheet and document at time
of re -submittal. Contact Voneen Macklin or Ginger Dodge to set up an
appointment to re -submit. Please re -submit by June 20, 2001 to make the July
19h Planning and Zoning Board meeting.
A PowerPoint slide presentation is typically prepared for each project that goes to
Planning and Zoning Board, even those projects likely to be on the consent
agenda. Is it possible to provide the photo -simulations in PowerPoint? We
would also like to have the site plan in PowerPoint if possible.
Thank you for your cooperation. If you have further questions, please don't
hesitate to call me at 970.416.2138 or via email at bgrubb(cDfcgov.com.

Dear Mr. Dewhirst:
The Development Review Team has completed its review of the above -
mentioned project and offers the following comments:
CURRENT PLANNING (Redlines Attached)
1. Section 2.2.11 of the Land Use Code requires that an applicant submit
revisions based on this letter within 90 days or the project application
becomes null and void. Your response to the City's concerns is due by
September 6, 2001. A 30-day extension to this deadline is available. All
requests for an extension should be directed to the Current Planning Director.
If remaining issues are those that do not require plan revisions, a status
report verifying continuing efforts toward resolving the issues is required
within the same timeline.
2. Modification for Chain -Link Fence — Chain -link fence is not allowed per city
code. You may want to change the style of fence to meet city standards or
request a modification. If you choose a modification, a letter justifying such
modification is required. The letter should explain how the modification meets
the criteria for approval listed in Section 2.8(H)(1)-(3). The letter should
accompany your re -submittal.
3. Color of BTS Equipment — Light brown and tan, while they are earth tones, do
not blend in and recede. The darker the shade of the color, the more the
object recedes. It is recommended that you use a color to match the
surroundings. This could be dark gray, forest green or other.
4. Landscaping — Landscaping should be provided per Section 3.8.13(C)(4) of
the LUC. The landscaping information may be included on the site and utility
plan.
5. Could you explain, in your written response to this letter, what the term "Dog
House" means.
