Section 2.2.11 of the Land Use Code requires that an applicant submit revisions based on this letter within 90 days or the project application becomes null and void. Your response to the City's concerns is due by September 6, 2001. A 30-day extension to this deadline is available. All requests for an extension should be directed to the Current Planning Director. If remaining issues are those that do not require plan revisions, a status report verifying continuing efforts toward resolving the issues is required within the same timeline. 2. Modification for Chain -Link Fence — Chain -link fence is not allowed per city code. You may want to change the style of fence to meet city standards or request a modification. If you choose a modification, a letter justifying such modification is required. The letter should explain how the modification meets the criteria for approval listed in Section 2.8(H)(1)-(3). The letter should accompany your re -submittal. 3. Color of BTS Equipment — Light brown and tan, while they are earth tones, do not blend in and recede. The darker the shade of the color, the more the object recedes. It is recommended that you use a color to match the surroundings. This could be dark gray, forest green or other. 4. Landscaping — Landscaping should be provided per Section 3.8.13(C)(4) of the LUC. The landscaping information may be included on the site and utility plan. 5. Could you explain, in your written response to this letter, what the term "Dog House" means. 281 North College Avenue • P.O. Box 580 • Fort Collins, CO 80522-0580 • (970) 221-6750 • FAX (970) 416-2020
