City of Fort Collins
Dear Resident:
February 3, 1999
The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, on Thursday, February 18,
1999, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers**, City Hall West, 300 LaPorte Avenue, will hold a
public hearing on a proposed project in your neighborhood. The proposed project is commonly
known as Keating Annexation & Zoning 1, #62-98 and Keating Annexation & Zoning 2, #62-
98A.
Keating Annexation & Zoning 1 is a request for voluntary annexation and zoning of approximately
11.27 acres of privately owned property located north of Trilby Road and west of Timberline Road.
It is located within the Fossil Creek Reservoir Area Plan. The recommended zoning is LMN — Low
Density Mixed Use Neighborhood.
Keating Annexation & Zoning 2 is a request for voluntary annexation and zoning of approximately
26.43 acres of privately owned property located north of Trilby Road and west of Timberline Road.
It is also located within Fossil Creek Reservoir Area Plan. The recommended zoning is LMN —
Low Density Mixed Use Neighborhood.
Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your interest and input in
this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an extremely important part of the City's review of this
proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, but would like to provide input, written
comments are welcome.
The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official records of the
Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between occupancy and record keeping, or
because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel
free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to
attend.
Please Note: Due to the number of projects being reviewed by the Board, there is no guarantee
this item will be heard on the date advertised. For the benefit of those attending the meeting, the
Board typically sets their schedule at the beginning of the meeting.
Sincerely,
Ronald G. Fuchs
City Planner
*Please note that if the Thursday, February 18`" meeting runs past 11:00 p.m., the
remaining items may be continued to Thursday, March 4, 1999 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council
Chambers, City Hall West.
