City of Fort Collins
October 6, 1999
Dear Resident:
The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, on Thursday,
October 21, 1999, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers**, City Hall West, 300 LaPorte
Avenue, will hold a public hearing on a proposed project in your neighborhood. The
proposed project is commonly known as Modification of Standards for Olde Town
North, #28-99.
This is a request for a modification of Land Use Code Section 4.15(D)(1) which, if
approved will ensure that the single-family project can continue even if additional single-
family projects are submitted. The proposed project is a qualified affordable housing
project on approximately 40 acres located west of the proposed extension of Redwood,
north of the Lake Canal and east of North College Avenue. The property is zoned CCN
— Community Commercial, North College District. Thirty (30) of the single-family lots
would also include carriage homes. You will be notified of additional neighborhood
meetings and public hearings for the project as a whole.
Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your interest
and input in this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an extremely important part of
the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, but
would like to provide input, written comments are welcome.
The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official
records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between occupancy
and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may
have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so
all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
Please Note: Due to the number of projects being reviewed by the Board, there is no
guarantee this item will be heard on the date advertised. For the benefit of those
attending the meeting, the Board typically sets their schedule at the beginning of the
meeting.
