Re: Application for Initial Zoning —Elizabeth Street Property
Dear Mr. Jones:
CSURF (Colorado State University Research Foundation) owns the referenced property.
David W. Gough and/or its assigns, has contracted to purchase this property from
CSURF. In order to facilitate this transaction and at the request of the purchaser(s),
please be advised that CSURF is supportive of the enclosed Rezoning Petition and
Application Form, seeking a change in the zoning from none (currently not zoned as
state-owned (CSU) property) to NflvIN zoning district.
In submitting this request for zoning and any subsequent land use approvals with respect
to the development of the property, CSURF wishes to establish zoning and land use
approvals for the purposes of the sale of the property to David W. Gough and/or assigns
for the specific development of an affordable senior (age -restricted) apartment project.
CSURF reserves the right to withdraw its support of the Rezoning Petition and
Application prior to the final adoption of such petition and application by the Fort Collins
City Council.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter. If you have any questions or need
further information, please contact Julie H. Birdsall or me at (970) 482-2916.
Sincerely,
if
