Troy,
I assume the comments that they proceeded on at the time of purchase were a result of the conceptual
review meeting. These lead me to believe that they felt we, The City, give substantive review comments
at conceptual. that being besides the point here are the the transporattion issues as I recall them.
Reremove the existing driveway just west of Shields. This is unsafe for use as a vehicle access point
because of it's closeness to Shields. It was only allowed to stay with the original use. Any redevelopment
requires it to be removed.
The other issue was the need to increase the size of the sidewalk from 32 inches to 8 feet. transportation
planning felt that due to this being a major pedestrain cooridor to CSU that the wider sidewalk was
necessary.
The other items, ie. street cut repairs to meet our standards can are typical of all projects that cause
damage to existing streets.
