Change the note on the utility plans concerning the tapping procedures to read "Install 20"x20"x6" welded tapping saddle with T.B. and 6"gate valve on existing 20" steel water main. Repair coating with approved materials and methods". ➢ See site plans for other comments. This fire lane shall be visible by painting and/or signage, and maintained unobstructed. The PFA will accept a minimum width of 12 feet for this project's fire lane. ADDRESS NUMERALS Address numerals shall be visible from the street fronting the property, and posted with a minimum of 6 inch numerals on a contrasting background. (Bronze numerals on brown brick are not acceptable). WATER SUPPLY Fire hydrants are required with a maximum spacing of 600 feet along an approved roadway. Each hydrant must be capable of delivering 1500 gallons of water per minute at a residual pressure of 20 psi.. Hydrants shall be of an approved type as defined by the water department and the fire department. No commercial building can be greater than 300 feet from a fire hydrant. SPRINKLER REQUIREMENTS: This project is required to be fire sprinklered. Mountain Ave. Fort Collins, CO 80524 August 31, 1999 Staff reviewed the Submittal of the Turning Point Plat, and would like to offer the following comments: COMMENTS: 1. Water and Sewer Utility Department: a. See the attached comment sheet and redlined Utility Plans from Water/Wastewater. 2. Engineering Department:. a. Please see the attached comment sheet and redlined Utility Plans from the Engineering Department. 3. Transportation Planning / Advance Planning: a. As discussed in our meeting on August 26th, the sidewalk shall be an 8 foot wide attached sidewalk with no required setback for the fence from the edge of the walk. 4. City Forester: a. Please provide drip irrigation for the landscaping outside of the fence. 5. Current Planning: a.. Because there are only a few outstanding issues, we can go ahead and schedule you for a Type 1 hearing. I will call you to coordinate. b. We will need to see revised plans based on the outstanding comments prior to hearing, but will not need to go through a formal submittal and review process. When you bring in these revisions, please ask the person at the counter to take them straight to me, and I . will route them to Engineering and Water/Wastewater. c. Please submit 3 copies of all plans that have any changes from the last submittal.
