Steve Olt, City Planner
Planning and Zoning Board
City Planning Staff

Ft. Collins, CO 80522
Dear Mr. Olt and members of the Board:
1 am responding to the proposed project in my neighborhood known as Promontory
Project Development Plan, #32-99. My family is opposed to this plan, as are many of my
neighbors (who, sadly, think it is a waste of time even trying to protest this project).
The proposed building of 48 one -bedroom flats and offices will enormously increase the
number of cars in an area that is already over -loaded with traffic. Our intersections are
already dangerous and prone to accidents (check statistics for Landings Drive &
Boardwalk and JFK Parkway & Troutman & Boardwalk), and there are already new
multi -family flats being constructed on JFK now. More traffic will clog our neighborhood
streets, increasing danger for children trying to cross Boardwalk to the community park
and field there. Entering the Post Office from Landings Drive or the opposite Boardwalk
lane -- already a mission -impossible task-- will also be negatively impacted. I also
question the population density's effect on what's left of the natural environment of our
part of south FT. Collins.
I urge you to reject this proposal.
Sincerely,
(lean Wyrick
