Per our previous phone conversation concerning a pedestrian crossing on South Mason Street between
Laporta Ave. and Maple Street in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway will not approve an at grade pedestrian crossing that is not
protected by lights and/or gates that are stand alone or not located by an existing protected crossing.
New requests for pedestrian or vehicular crossings must also be approved by Colorado Public Utilities
Commission (Attn: Jack Beiers), as well as Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway.
