February 17, 2000
The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, on Thursday,
March 2, 2000*, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers**, City Hall West, 300 LaPorte
Avenue, will hold a public hearing on proposed projects in your neighborhood. The
proposed projects are commonly known as Civic Center Office Building, #29-99.
This is a request to build a 71,515 square foot office building for City of Fort Collins
municipal offices at the northwest corner of Mason Street and La Porte Avenue.
Because of the size of the building, it will be subject to Planning and Zoning Board
review. The site is in the Civic Center Sub -district of the (D) - Downtown Zoning District.
Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your interest
and input in this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an extremely important part of
the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, but
would like to provide input, written comments are welcome.
The list of affected property owners for this public hearing is derived from official records
of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of lag time between occupancy and record
keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been
missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all
neighbors have the opportunity to attend.
Please Note: Due to the number of projects being reviewed by the Board, there is no
guarantee this item will be heard on the date advertised. For the benefit of those
attending the meeting, the Board typically sets their schedule at the beginning of the
meeting.

*Please note that if the Thursday, February 17`h meeting runs past 11:00 p.m., the
remaining items may be continued to Thursday, March 2, 2000 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council
Chambers, City Hall West.
