Please acc t this letter as our formal request for a 30-day extension to your comments of
February 2$, 2000.
Unfortuna+iy, we have not had success with Stewart and Associates to accomplish the
changes in a noted time frame. I have contacted them in writing on March 7, 2000
regarding tese changes and again May 12, 2000 via telephone, at which time I was
assured yob would have the changes the week of May 15. As you are aware, we cannot
address aV of your issues without their assistance.
For this re on, we ask that an extension be granted to allow us additional time to work
with Stew and Associates to resolve the problems.

Dear: Ms. Schoonover
This is in response to your letter dated May 23; 2000, requesting an extension to
the required 90 day turn around time for addressing staffs comments for the
project. In your letter you state that engineer is having trouble meeting the City's
deadline for addressing staff comments and are asking for an additional 30 days
to prepare a more complete set of plans for your next submittal.
After staffs review and consideration of the constraints as stated, it has been
determined that a time extension is warranted. Therefore, it is staffs opinion that
a 30-day extension will provide adequate time for your design team to resolve the
outstanding issues and provide to the City a revised and complete set of project
drawings and documents.
Based upon this extension a revised time line for your next submittal shall be
June 23, 2000. Therefore, if complete revised plans are not submitted by the
end of the day on June 23, 2000, this project will automatically lapse and become
null and void.
