HomeMy WebLinkAboutTIMAN PROPERTY (FORMERLY FRONT RANGE) - REZONE & STRUCTURE PLAN AMENDMENT - 3-00B - CORRESPONDENCE - CORRESPONDENCE-HEARINGNo Text Commun.,y Planning and Environmental , .vices Current Planning City of Fort Collins September 4, 2002 Dear Resident: The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado*, on Thursday, September 19, 2002, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers", City Hall West, 300 LaPorte Avenue, will hold a public hearing on a proposed project in your neighborhood. The proposed project is the Timan Property Rezoning and Structure Plan Amendment (formerly Front Range Rezoning), #3-OOB. Request to amend City Structure Plan designations on a 57-acre property, located on the west side of South College Avenue, from Trilby Road to Skyway Drive; and to rezone accordingly. The amendment is essentially a north -south -flipped rearrangement of the designations currently in place on the site. The resulting change moves the Neighborhood Commercial designation from the northwest corner of College/Trilby to the southwest corner of College/Skyway. The current designations were recently approved on January 15, 2002. The proposed designations include about 18 acres of Neighborhood Commercial Center (NC) at the College/Skyway corner; about 18 acres of Medium Density Mixed -Use Residential Neighborhood (MMN) extending south to Trilby Road on the western half of the site; and about 21 acres of Commercial Corridor (C) along the east half of the site fronting College Avenue. Both the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Planning Staff consider your interest and input in this matter, as well as your neighbor's input, an extremely important part of the City's review of this proposal. If you are unable to attend the public hearing, but would like to provide input, written comments are welcome. The list of affected property owners for this public meeting is derived from official records of the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors may have the opportunity to attend. Please Note: Due to the number of projects being reviewed by the Board, there is no guarantee this item will be heard on the date advertised. For the benefit of those attending the meeting, the Board typically sets their schedule at the beginning of the meeting.
