February 3, 2000
The Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, on Thursday, February 17, 2000*,
at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers**, City Hall West, 300 LaPorte Avenue, will hold a public hearing
on proposed projects in your neighborhood. The proposed projects are commonly known as Strang
Cabin Annexation, #5-00; Strauss Cabin Annexation No. 1, #4-00; and Strauss Cabin Annexation
No. 2, #4-OOA.
Strang Cabin Annexation is a request for voluntary annexation and zoning of approximately 4.50 acres of
publicly owned property located at the southwest corner of Horsetooth Road and County Road 7. The
recommended zoning is Public Open Lands (POL), and it is contiguous to a larger piece of Public Open
Lands known as the Arapaho Bend Natural Area.
Strauss Cabin Annexation No. 1 is a request for voluntary annexation and zoning of approximately .418
acres of publicly owned property located at the northeast corner of Horsetooth Road and County Road 7.
The recommended zoning is Public Open Lands (POL), and it is contiguous to a larger piece of Public
Open Lands known as the Arapaho Bend Natural Area.
Strauss Cabin Annexation No. 2 is a request for voluntary annexation and zoning of approximately 1.737
acres of publicly owned property located at the northeast corner of Horsetooth Road and County Road 7.
The recommended zoning is Public Open Lands (POL), and it is contiguous to a larger piece of Public
Open Lands known as the Arapaho Bend Natural Area.
The list of affected property owners for this public hearing is derived from official records of the Larimer
County Assessor. Because of lag time between occupancy and record keeping, or because of rental
situations, a few affected property owners may have been missed. Please feel free to notify your
neighbor of this pending meeting so all neighbors have the opportunity to attend.
Please Note: Due to the number of projects being reviewed by the Board, there is no guarantee this item
will be heard on the date advertised. For the benefit of those attending the meeting, the Board typically
sets their schedule at the beginning of the meeting.
