Subject: Priority Processing and Waiver of Development Fees for the Cherokee
Flying Heights Affordable Housing Project
Date: May 9, 2000
The Cherokee Flying Heights project is a 21 unit; one hundred percent designated
affordable housing project at 105 South Taft Hill Road. All of the units will be affordable
to households earning 80% or less of the Area Median Income ($45,050 for a family of
4). Therefore, it qualifies for Priority Processing and a 100% waiver of its Development
Review Fees as an affordable housing project. The waiver only applies to fees charged by
the Current Planning Department.
Please implement Priority Processing procedures for this project's development review
process. The developer submitted an application for review to the Current Planning
Department on May 9, 2000.
