a. Section 2.2.11 of the Land Use Code requires that an applicant submit
revisions based on this letter within 90 days or the project application
becomes null and void. Your response to the City's concerns is due by
August 22, 2000. A 30 day extension to this deadline is available. All
requests for an extension should be directed to the Current Planning
Director. If remaining issues are those that do not require plan revisions, a
status report verifying continuing efforts toward resolving the issues is
required within the same timeline.
b. We must conduct a neighborhood meeting for this project. We should have
Ron Daggett there in addition to a representative from the city's
Stormwater Department, and myself. The property owners within 500 feet
will need to be invited to the meeting. Please call me to coordinate
scheduling of the meeting.
If you have any questions about these or any other issues related to this project
please feel free to call be at 221-6750.
Yours truly,

STAFF REVIEW COMMENTS
April 25, 2000
Staff has reviewed your submittal for Irish Elementary School I" and 2"d
Annexations, and we offer the following comments:
COMMENTS:
1. Stormwater Utility Department:
a. The southern most part of the school is in the floodplain, which could have
an impact on future additions/modifictions to the existing school
improvements. They would have to comply with existing floodplain
regulations as enforced by the City of Fort Collins.
2. City Attorney:
a. The applicant used the old petition form. It will be OK for this application,
but please refer to the attached new petition form for any future
applications.
3. Light and Power:
a. This territory is served by Public Service Company for electric. Following
annexation the City of Fort Collins Utilities will provide electric service. No
service rights fees will apply.
4. Transportation Planning:
a. For the record, the Transportation Planning Department would like to point
out that there is a lack of adequate pedestrian facilities to the school from
surrounding neighborhoods.
5. Engineering Department:
a. It is possible that the Engineering Department will want to do an
Annexation Agreement. Please contact Mark McCallum to discuss.
