Staff has reviewed your submittal for The Preserve (1212 Raintree Drive)
Wireless Telecommunication Equipment, and we offer the following
comments:
COMMENTS:
1. Zoning:
a. Wireless Equipment in the MMN zone is a Type 2 review, not a type as
specified in Section 4.5(8)(3)(d)(1) of the Land Use Code. This means
the project will have to go to hearing before the Planning and Zoning
Board.
b. They should be required to provide a study that illustrates the need
for the extra 16 feet of pole height that they are proposing. Why is
the extra height needed? What additional benefits are there?
c. If the fence is to be 7 feet high, it would require a building permit
and needs to be engineered to withstand wind load.
2. Light and Power:
a. Contact Light and Power for electric requirements and billing charges.
b. The point of contact is Alan Rutz at 224-6153.
3. Engineering Department:
a. Please seethe attached comment sheet and redlined plans form
