Poudre Fire Authority, Transportation Planning, Natural Resources: . a. These department have reviewed the application and have no comments. 5. Current Planning: a. Section 2.2.11 of the Land Use Code requires that an applicant submit revisions based on this letter within 90 days or the project application becomes null and void. Your response to the City's concerns is due by October 11, 2000. A 30-day extension to this deadline is available. All requests for an extension should be directed to the Current Planning Director. If remaining issues are those that do not require plan revisions, a status report verifying continuing efforts toward resolving the issues is required within the same timeline. b.:The fence blocking the view of the equipment area should be reduced to 6 feet in height if possible and if the equipment that it is screening is 6 feet or less in height. This fence must be made of the same siding materials as the adjacent garage and must be painted the some color as the garage. c. Put a note on the Landscape Plan that indicates that the Preserve Apartments will be irrigating and maintaining the newly landscaped area created by this application. d. Please submit 3 copies of revisions (Zoning, Engineering, and Current Planning). Once all the comments have. been addressed, we can schedule a hearing. Zoning: a. Wireless Equipment in the MMN zone is a Type 2 review, not a type as specified in Section 4.5(8)(3)(d)(1) of the Land Use Code. This means the project will have to go to hearing before the Planning and Zoning Board. b. They should be required to provide a study that illustrates the need for the extra 16 feet of pole height that they are proposing. Why is the extra height needed? What additional benefits are there? c. If the fence is to be 7 feet high, it would require a building permit and needs to be engineered to withstand wind load. 2. Light and Power: a.
