With the building envelope changes, some of the meter pits may no longer be within easement area and adequate distance from the buildings. Per conversations with Jeff Hill and a meeting between the owner's representative and Roger Buffington, we have changed the water service, curb stop, and meter pit locations for two buildings. The relocated meter pits have been located 4 feet from the building envelope and a 10 foot separation has been maintained from sanitary sewer services. The original Sheet 8 has been bubbled and a new Sheet 8A has been added identifying these changes. Department: Water Wastewater Contact: Jeff Hill Topic: General Number 26 Show water and sewer lines on revised utility plans and site plans. Maintain 4 feet minimum separation between meter pit and building envelopes. Maintain 10 feet of separation between water/sewer services and trees. See site, landscape and utility plans for other comments. See response to Number 30, above. Pickett Engineering, Inc. The utility signature block has been added to this sheet Number 27 There seem to be two sheets 6A in for review. I have a Mylar sheet that was just submitted that is different than the blueline sheet in this set for review. Which sheet is the one you wish to be reviewed and approved? If these are to become two sheets they need to be numbered 6A and 6B and duplicate information should be removed (ie details). Nothing should be bubbled on either one of these sheets nor noted in the revision block area, as both are new sheets. Remove note regarding wall design to be provided prior to construction of wall. The wall designs need to be provided as part of the utility plan set and approved with these plans. We have changed the sheet number for the modification to the detention pond to sheet 6A; sheet 6B is now the revisions to the grading around the new building envelopes. The bubbled areas have been.removed on all sheets and the text has been removed from the revision block area. The note requiring that the retaining wall design be approved prior to the construction of the walls has been changed to read that the approval of the wall design shall be done in conjunction with the approval of the Mylar for detention pond modifications. Number 28 Need to provide the retaining wall design(s). They need to be a part of the utility plan set. Please provide the design(s) and provide signed and sealed structural calculations for their design. The owner will, or possibly has already, submitted the design and sealed structural calculations for the retaining wall design to your office. Pickett Engineering, Inc. June 22, 2004 Page 1 of 2
