Gentlemen:
consulting engineers
The enclosed report presents the results of a geotechnical investigation for Lot 1, Block 1,
Woodlands P.U.D., Fort Collins, Colorado. This report contains the results of our investigation
and recommendations concerning design and construction of the foundation, ground -level floor
systems and slabs -on -grade.
In summary, sandy clays and gravelly sands were encountered over sandstone bedrock strata to
the depths explored. Although the soils and/or rock appear to be suitable for support of the
proposed structures, care will be needed in both the design and construction of the buildings to
minimize the potential for foundation and floor slab movement.
We appreciate the opportunity to be of service to you on this project. If you have any questions,
please feel free to call.
SCOTT, COX & ASSOCIATES, INC.
Respectfully.
Gary J. Higgins,
Geologist
