The applicable districts are as follows: • Poudre School District • Poudre Fire Authority • Poudre Valley Hospital • Larimer County Pest Control • South Fort Collins Sanitation District • Fort Collins — Loveland Water District • N. CO Water Conservancy District • Public Service Company • Poudre Valley REA, Inc. There is no anticipated negative effect upon local -public school district systems as there are no additional students generated as a result of this annexation. ANNEXATION IMPACT REPORT NAME OF ANNEXATION: Staley Annexation [Current Planning File # 7-01 ] DATE OF REVIEW BY THE FORT COLLINS CITY COUNCIL: April 19, 2001 and May 1, 2001 The purpose of this report is to satisfy the requirements of CRS 31-12-108.5 which indicates a municipality shall prepare an annexation impact report and file a copy of the report with the Board of County Commissioners governing the area proposed to the annexed. Attached to this report are the following: (1) A vicinity map of the proposed Staley Annexation. (2) A map showing the present and proposed boundaries of the City of Fort Collins. The proposed boundaries of the City of Fort Collins are depicted by the Urban Growth Area Boundary as agreed to by the Larimer County Board of Commissioners and the Council of the City of Fort Collins and contained in the INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR THE FORT COLLINS URBAN GROWTH AREA. (See attached map titled "City of Fort Collins"). (3) A copy of the City of Fort Collins Master Street Plan which depicts the existing and proposed street classification of all streets within the Fort Collins Urban Growth Area (See attached map titled "City of Fort Collins Master Street Plan"). (4) A map showing sewer service area boundaries and major sewer interceptors (See attached map titled "Sewer Service Areas and Major Sewer Interceptors"). (5) A map showing water service area boundaries and major trunk lines (See attached map titled "Water District Service Areas"). (6) A map showing the electric service providers (See attached map titled "Service Territories within UGA Boundary"). This is a voluntary annexation and zoning of an area approximately 24.47 acres, located south of Kechter, east of Ziegler, west of Strauss Cabin Road, and north of the Fossil Creek Reservoir. The annexation each meets CRS 31-12-104 that not less than one -sixth of the perimeter of the area to be annexed is contiguous with the City of Fort Collins. Municipal Services will be extended into the area being annexed. The area to be annexed will become a city park and an elementary school. Both the City of Fort Collins Park Planning Department and the Poudre School District have submitted development plans for review for this site. Upon annexation, through regular fees associated with the development of the property, the applicable municipal services will be provided. Commu. This request is scheduled to go to the Fort Collins City Council on April 17, 2001, for first reading, and May 1, 2001, for second reading.
