SUBJECT:
Harris Transportation Study
We are projecting the following traffic volume at Harris Bilingual Elementary School at
the completion of construction.
Six school buses are projected to load and unload on Smith Street from 8:00 to 8:20 A.M.
and from 3:00 to 3:15 P.M.
The remainder of the student population will be transported in an estimated 132 private
vehicles that will load and unload on Garfield and East Elizabeth Streets from 8:00 to
8:20 A.M. and from 3:00 to 3:15 P.M.
The school will staff forty-five employees. Fifteen employees will park in the lot that is
accessed by Garfield Street and thirty employees will use public parking on Garfield,
Elizabeth and Smith Streets.
Poudre School District and private vendor vehicles will have the following schedule:
