Mr. Hill,
We, the residents of the Skyline Acres Subdivision in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado, have been granted
an opportunity to view the proposed site layout for the Fort Collins Volunteers of America Elderly Housing
Project. This development is to be located south of West Horsetooth Road and immediately east of the
Pleasant Valley and Lake Irrigation Canal in the City of Fort Collins, Colorado. We have. reviewed the
proposed design of the three irrigation laterals serving our properties. We have also reviewed the proposed
site grading and drainage plan, dated July 25, 2001 as prepared by JVA, Incorporated. We also recognize the
need for site work on some of our properties in order to improve the laterals serving properties north of Brook
Drive. We are hereby granting .grading easements for five (5) properties adjacent to this proposed
development as follows.
Tract 1: a grading easement along the westernmost twenty-five feet (25') of the property
Tracts 2,3, and 5: a grading easement along the westernmost ten feet (10") of the property.
These grading easements will be granted on a temporary basis, for twenty-four (24) months beyond the dates
as signed below, or until the date of substantial completion, whichever is a longer period of time. We, the
residents of Skyline Acres, do hereby approve the previously mentioned site grading easements.
Attached to this letter is a surveyor's description of the legal description of the grading easements as
described above in this letter.
