Subject: Priority Processing and Waiver of Development Review Fees for
Volunteers of America
Date: March 6, 2001
Volunteers of America is planning to build a 60-unit senior housing development located
at 1401 Horsetooth Road. The project will be income restricted to households at or below
50% of the Area Median Income for Fort Collins.
Therefore, the project qualifies for Priority Processing and a 100% waiver of its
Development Review Fees as an affordable housing project. The waiver only applies to
fees charged by the Current Planning Department.
Please implement Priority Processing procedures for this project's development review
process. The developer will submit an application for development review to Current
Planning on March 7, 2001.
