Dear Resident:
vices
May 23, 2001
On Wednesday, June 6th, 2001, at 3:30 p.m., in the conference room of the City of
Fort Collins Current Planning Department, 281 North College Avenue, Fort Collins, CO.,
80524, the Administrative Hearing Officer will conduct an administrative public hearing
for a development proposal in your neighborhood. The project is known as Nix Farm
Natural Areas Facility — Project Development Plan, #5-01.
The request is for offices, maintenance facilities, greenhouse, and nursery, to serve the
City of Fort Collins Natural Areas program. A small area on the site will continue to house
the City of Fort Collins K-9 Training Facility. The site is located northeast of Hoffman Mill
Road and south of the Cache La Poudre River, adjacent to the Kingfisher Point Natural
Area. The site is zoned POL, Public Open Lands.
The affected property owners list for this public hearing is derived from official records of
the Larimer County Assessor. Because of the lag time between home occupancy and
record keeping, or because of rental situations, a few affected property owners may have
been missed. Please feel free to notify your neighbor of this pending meeting so all
neighbors may have the opportunity to attend.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call our office at 970.221.6750.
Sincerely:
Cameron Gloss
Director of Current Planning
