Re: Nix Farm Natural Area — Drainage Addendum
Dear Glen:
We are pleased to submit for vour approval this addendum showing the minor changes being made to
the approved Grading and Drainage Plans for Nix Farm Natural Area by JR Engineering dated
09/10/01 as shown on the revised Grading Plan. We have reviewed the revised Grading Plan provided
by Jim Sell Design dated 05/1 i/02 and have determined that there are no significant changes' or
deviations to drainage parems per the approved Drainage Reportby JR Engineering dated 06/08/01.
Proposed Culver. #lA is being removed and two 1-foot sidewalk chases with steel waffle plates are
being added as shown on the revised Grading Plan.

A Flow Master jFt1n has been included with this letter for the sidewalk chases. Half of the 100-year
discharge for Baas n 104 was used in the calculation because only half of Basin 104 is conveyed in the
chases. All swales will he graded at a minirntun slope of 1 A%, which will adegaately drain the site.
All computations within this addendum have been completed in compliance with the most recent
rainfall data and the City of Fort Collins Storm Drainage Design Criteria.
