Fire hydrants are required with a maximum spacing of 600 feet along an approved
roadway. Each hydrant must be capable of delivering 1500 gallons of water per minute

Rick Lee of the Building Department indicated that he is forwarding a copy of the various
codes that the City Building Department will enforce. From the brief information provided
it is apparent that some of the exterior walls of the office building and storage building
will need to be one -hour construction per Table 5-A. These rated walls must be carried
to the roof deck above.

Robert Lopez of AT&T Broadband (cable TV) indicated that they have fiber optic line on
the west side of South College Avenue from Harmony Road to Cameron Drive, then it
crosses to the east side of College Avenue.

Len Hilderbrand of Excel Energy (Public Service) indicated that no trees may be planted
within 4' of gas lines.

A copy of a comment letter received from Terry Farrill of the Fort Collins -Loveland Water
District and the South Fort Collins Sanitation District is attached to this comment letter.

Tim Buchanan, the City Forester, indicated that the Landscape Plan has 3 Autumn
Blaze Maple trees as street trees between the sidewalk and curb. This species (Autumn
Blaze Maple) is not on the "City Street Tree List". The applicant needs to change the
Autumn Blaze Maples to an approved species off of the attached Street Tree List.
