Ref.: Response to Preliminary Review Comments for Spanjer Office, Lot 7 Cameron Park
Subdivision
Dear Steve:
We have reviewed the Staff comments and redlines, revised our plans and have summarized our
responses below.
Written comments included general coordination with other consultants and their revisions,
which has been addressed.
Red line comments from engineering:
• Utility, drainage and access easements are shown as clearly as possible. See
engineering plans for any clarification.
• Scale of site is at 1" = 20'. Enlarging it to 1" = 10' would take up the whole sheet. It
currently matched the rest of the sheets for this submittal.
• All minimum utility separations are being met.
• Comment concerning the condition of existing trees in the median is not addressed
because we do not own, control or have responsibility in that area.
Red line comments from current planning:
• Shade trees can not be added to area south of parking due to a proposed electric line.
• The spirea in the bed near the parking has been changed to a cotoneaster for winter
density but height is not a factor since the wall is behind the bed and it is three feet
higher (on average) than the parking lot adjacent to it.
• The Broadmoore Juniper in the sidewalk has been removed.
• Trees can not be planted on the north side of the property in the location requested due
to an existing utility easement.
There were no other comments regarding the landscape plan but other mior changes were made
due to site changes.
Northern Engineering Services or WJ Frick Design Group has addressed all other comments.
Thank You,
