Dear Mr. Moore
As per your request, I have met with a -representative of Lagunitas Companies to review the
status of the Redtail Project on several occasions. The objective of these meetings was to
discuss the changes made,to the. proposed project with a view to modifying both the wetland
mitigation and buffer zone revegetation plans, if necessary.
The proposed modifications to the plan, ,as shown and described to ,me, are limited to minor .
changes in the road to be constructed in the northwest portion of the project.area and to impacts
to various wetlands on site. The changes proposed entail a modification to the road embankment
slopes and a redesign of the rock outlet structures along with a slight reduction in impacts to on -
site wetlands to keep the, wetland impact, total to less than 0.50 acre. Total wetland impact
acreages remain, for ail intents and purposes, identical to those proposed in February 2003. No -
overall increases* to wetland impacts are contemplated. The document entitled "Wetland
Mitigation Plan for the Redtail Project" is suitable for final submittal.
No substantial changes were made to proposed impacts to the .buffer zone. Minor wording
changes were made to the document entitled "Revegetation Plan for the Redtail Project Buffer
Zone" (February 2003) to make it current.
Both mitigation plans -have been identified as "revised" and are final for your purposes.
.I trust this communication and a submittal of three copies of both of these plans will adequately
address your concerns.
Sincerely,
CEDAR CREEK ASSOCIIATES,INC.
