Subject: Priority Processing and Development Plan Fee Waiver
Date: September 6, 2001
Lagunitas Companies is proposing a 78-86 unit affordable housing project located at the western
terminus of Cameron Park and adjacent to the Retail Natural Area and Fossil Creek.
This development meets the definition of an "Affordable Housing Project" as 100% of the 76-84
units will be made available to residents of the City of Fort Collins whose income falls at or
below 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
Please implement Priority Processing procedures for this project and provide a 100% waiver of
the development plan fees. I understand the developer submitted a check in the amount of
$5,898.50 to cover these fees on July 1, 2001. If possible, please reimburse the development plan
fees to the developer for this affordable housing project as established in the code of the City of
Fort Collins.
The waiver only applies to fees charged by the Current Planning Department. If you have any
questions, please contact me at 6342.
