Dear Doug:
This letter is submitted to inform you that Cedar Creek Associates, Inc. has been retained by the
Lagunitas Company to prepare a wetlands mitigation plan for the proposed Redtail Project. The plan will
be prepared to mitigate the potential loss of 0.38 acre of wetland associated with potential project
development. The mitigation plan will be prepared to ensure that City of Fort Collins mitigation
requirements for wetland disturbance are addressed and all Army Corps of Engineers 404 permit
requirements are met. Preliminary mitigation plan development has been initiated, but. the plan cannot be
completed until the Lagunitas Company and its consultants have finalized engineering plans for the
project. Once the project development plans are complete, Cedar Creek will proceed with the completion
of the wetlands mitigation plan, and the plan will be submitted to the City of Fort Collins and Army Corps
of Engineers for review and approval.
