Greg poked his head into my office yesterday and mentioned that he and Jon Prouty had met. The Natural
Resource comments appear to stand as we have discussed in the past, except that Jon disagrees with
the method staff has been using to calculate the buffer. Greg agrees with Jon. Staff has been based the
degree of encroachment on a disturbed land area calculation rather than the horizontal distance between
the resource and the disturbed area.
You might want to discuss this with Greg and Michelle when it's convenient for everyone
